The KINETIXX® loaded IMRT KEVLAR series presents an incomparable technical value proposition. Featuring the worlds only continuous fiber filament wound braided kevlar fiber material application. Kevlar offers an incredibly high tensile strength-to-weight ratio. by this measure it is 5x stronger than steel, with 20x the elastic strength.
Yet Kevlar has no modulus, therefore combined with the limitations in the manufacturing methods practiced by all conventional shaft manufacturers, the workable form factor of their Kevlar and related applications are limited to high density, ineffective pre- impregnated sheet or liquid crystal polymer.
In fact, materials like Zylon and coatings like LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) are both diminutives of kevlar, present merely in as part of the atomic branch chain of elements that comprise global atomic structure, that is kevlar. therefore due to mass and design constraints in golf shaft applications, kevlar either in sheet or partial form as in LCP, is incapable of realizing any elastic strength and dynamic property benefits of the entire kevlar chain, inherent in all paderson® KINETIXX® IMRT loaded continuous fiber filament wound KEVLAR shaft applications. Installation should only be completed by a qualified, trained club builder.
- All PADERSON KINETIXx loaded shafts are to be BUTT Cut to length only.
- Do not TIP trim any shaft model! Regardless of CPM, or club assembly config.
- Please do not Chamfer the tips however light belt abrasion is recommended.
*To ensure a smooth and cleaner build, we perform a post-production tip
preparation: 1″ Metalwoods, 1.25″ Irons. depending on hosel bore depth,
there will at times be need to remove the paint / clear-coat lip beyond the
region of the prepared surface delivered. Light belt abrasion is also
recommended to insure a full shaft insert and adequate epoxy adhesion.
